A View Of Neelum–Jhelum Hydropower Plant

The  Neelum–Jhelum Hydropower Plant is part of a run-of-the-river hydroelectric power scheme ..The dam for diversion of Neelum waters through tunnels is constructed at Nauseri about 41 km upstream of Muzaffarabad and outfall in Jhelum River and powerhouose is located at Chatter Kalas in Muzaffarabad, AJ&K.The project with capacity of 969MW electricity will generate 5,150 gegawatt per hour at the levelised tariff of 13.50 per unit for 30 years. The annual benefits of the project have been estimated at Rs55 billion.
